Celebrate New England Sports at The Globies Presented by Mercedes-Benz on October 6 at House of Blues Boston

WHAT: The Boston Globe will host “The Globies Presented by Mercedes-Benz,” a first-of-its-kind sports awards celebration that will honor the best of the New England sports scene on and off the field, on October 6 at House of Blues Boston. The Globies will be awarded by the Boston Globe Sports Department, recognizing athletes, teams, executives and influencers in a variety of categories.

The Globies Presented by Mercedes-Benz will gather some of New England’s best and brightest athletes, coaches and executives for an unforgettable evening with fans. The event at House of Blues Boston will feature red carpet arrivals and a VIP cocktail party followed by an award ceremony and celebration.

Tickets start at $75 and are available for purchase by visiting BostonGlobe.com/Globies. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Travis Roy Foundation. All attendees of The Globies Presented by Mercedes-Benz must by 21 years of age or older. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the awards presentation will begin at 8:00 p.m.
