Dance and Have Fun for Open Space
Attend the Waltham Land Trust's fundraiser gala to hear blues, eat food, enjoy drinks, and bid on auction items. Proceeds help build trails!
The Waltham Land Trust is pleased to host the internationally-recognized, 5-piece Chicago style blues band Sugar Ray and the Bluetones for the environmental group’s benefit party, the Green Space Blues Jam, on May 20st. Sugar Ray and his band have been playing together for over 40 years and have been nominated for ten 2017 Blues Music Awards from the Blues Foundation.
The 13th Annual Green Space Blues Jam will be on Saturday, May 20st, at the Hobbs Brook facility located at 175 Wyman Street in Waltham. The Blues Jam is the Land Trust's major annual fundraising event, featuring all you can eat (artisan cheeses, veggies, salad bar, make-your-own-pasta station, delicious main courses) and drink (wine, beer, and soda), spectacular music, unique silent auction items, and great company. The festivities begin at 7 pm and last until 11. Ticket price is $50 for members and $65 for non-members before May 13.
