Documentary Featuring Waltham Circus Performer Airing Soon

A documentary featuring a Waltham girl will soon be coming to a television near you.

On April 21 at 10 p.m., “Circus Dreams,” will premiere on WGBH TV and later repeat on April 22 at 10:30 a.m. The film will air again April 24 -25 on the WGBH World channel.

The documentary, which chronicles the adventures of , features Kia Eastman, a Waltham girl. Eastman is a trapeze aerialist.

“Circus Dreams follows the adventures of a troupe of teens and tweens who astonish and delight audiences around New England on a Big Top Tour,” said Signe Taylor, the film’s director, in an e-mail to Waltham Patch.

Eastman performed with the circus for six summer seasons before pursuing a career in the circus, according to Taylor. Eastman is currently studying fixed duo trapeze with Lindsay Culbert-Olds of Arlington, according to Taylor.
