Looking to run a road race in Waltham this summer?

Registration for the Tail Gate Trot, a 4-mile race, is available at their Web site. The race is scheduled for June 9 and will start at the at 411 Waverly Oaks Rd. The race starts at 9 a.m., while check-in and registration will be held between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., according to its Web site. There is a $15 fee to register in advance, and $18 fee to register the day of the race.

This is the race's third year and it celebrates the life of Michael Martin, a former Waltham resident who died in 2007, according to the Web site. All proceeds will benefit the Michael Martin Scholarship Fund.
