Hair Cuttery Donates Portion of Proceed to Waltham Boys & Girls Club in Celebration of One Year Anniversary

Five percent of proceeds from October 23rd - 29th will benefit the charity.

Hair Cuttery will celebrate the one year anniversary of its grand opening in Waltham, MA by helping raise money and awareness for the Waltham Boys and Girls Club. From October 23rd – 29th, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds to the charity. The salon is located at 1092 Lexington Street in the Waltham Plaza.

Through its numerous programs, the Waltham Boys and Girls Club inspires and enables young people, especially those in need, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

“We are a family-owned business and feel it’s important to serve as a community partner and support local charities and causes that impact our neighbors,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “As we celebrate our one year anniversary in Waltham we look forward to partnering with the Waltham Boys and Girls Club and continuing our support of the Waltham community,” said Ratner.

Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable support. For the past 17 years, it has sponsored Share A Haircut, a national charitable campaign aimed at giving free back-to-school haircuts to children in need as well as haircuts for the homeless. Through partnerships with local social service agencies, Hair Cuttery has donated more than 125,000 haircuts in the last year and more than 950,000 haircuts since the program’s inception in 1999. Hair Cuttery salons also support local charities and community causes through cut-a-thons and donations.
