Hot Off The Press: Boston Vogayer Magazine Interview With Reiki of Greater Boston in Waltham

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Hassett.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I attribute Reiki & Yoga to saving my life when many years ago I began having MS like symptoms that no Dr. could seem to diagnose or treat. After suffering for 2 years without answers I decided to take things into my own hands and began a serious regime of Reiki Healing and Yoga. Because of the miraculous results I had with these methods,
I began teaching Yoga in 2001 and practicing Reiki in 2004. Continuing to offer both healing practices today along with Life Coaching, Energy Clearing and Crystal Healing allows me to access remedies for depression, stress, insomnia, autoimmune issues, etc. I also provide Reiki for Cancer patients in hospitals where side effects of medications are lessened and Reiki relaxation puts the body in a better state for healing itself.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Once you find your Life’s Purpose even struggles and bumpy roads seem easier and do not deter you from your path. Overall things have been smooth. Paying attention to higher power’s signs leads you in the right direction once you let go of the ego’s ideas of what things ‘should be like’. These are some of the things we work toward at Reiki of Greater Boston.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Reiki of Greater Boston – what should we know?
Clients usually start out with either a Reiki Healing or Yoga session and from there, depending on their needs we may add other services: Crystal Healing, Life Coaching, Energy Clearing, Meditation, Breath Work. A combination of these methods bring people to balance & health Spiritually, Emotionally and Physically. I guess you could say I specialize in overall health with a strong emphasis on emotional and spiritual.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Both my Reiki teachers have been superb in teaching me the basics and guiding me to the truth. My husband of 34 years deserves lots of props for supporting me in many ways especially when I work nights, days and weekends. I think that’s it because I’m very much an introvert so I enjoy working alone without bosses and co-workers, etc.
