How Much Snow Did Waltham Get?

WALTHAM, MA - Schools were closed, flights were canceled, and Waltham residents readied themselves for the second significant storm in four days.

But while the weather was bad at times, especially in Southeastern Mass. and the Cape, things in Waltham didn’t get as messy as predicted.

Tuesday’s unofficial total in Brookline was at only 4.5 inches as of a little after midnight, according to the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service had predicted about a foot of snow for the Waltham area on Monday.
