Dear Voters,
My name is Dennis Carrafiello, and I am running for City Council in Ward Nine. I was born and raised in Waltham, and live here now with my wife Nicole and our three children. I want to tell you up front that I am not a politician. I am a licensed Master Electrician and a senior facilities engineer for one of the largest and most respected commercial real estate firms in the nation. As a private-sector manager, I understand leadership, results, and accountability, and these same skills are just what Waltham needs.
At one time, Moody Street was the talk of the greater Boston area as an example of a downtown district that had transformed itself and was thriving.
Today, the pace of activity and energy on Moody Street is way down, and the area is in danger of being eclipsed by newer eating and entertainment destinations around the Boston area and closer to home.
There is only one way to make significant changes in Waltham and that's by electing leaders who will bring new ideas to City Council.
