Learn Bridge in a Day?

bridge class

The Eastern Mass. Bridge Association (EMBA) will hold a one-day introduction to bridge.

Playing a bridge hand requires just a deck of cards, four people, and ten minutes. Bridge has hooked players for close to a century. The game is easy to learn and challenging to master.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Puritan Bridge Club in Braintree will host a seminar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.n. In five hours, students will learn the basics of bidding, play and scoring for this fascinating pastime. New players, plus anyone who has been away from the game for a few years, are eligible for the class.
