Make your mom a caped crusader this Mother’s Day.

Introducing the Adaptable Cape from ChestnutStreet.com.

Many moms already have everything. But what if you discovered a completely new accessory that was highly practical, very fashionable and a complement for her many moods and modes?

Introducing the Adaptable Cape from ChestnutStreet.com. The extra stylish layer was created by ChestnutStreet.com founder Karen Osborn with help from colleague Kim McLeod.

The exclusive adaptive clothing design is made in the U.S. with one piece of 52" Diameter Polartec Classic 200 series. It can be worn many different ways, whether standing or seated in a wheelchair or conventional chair. With the cape held behind you, slip one arm through each hole and you have a cozy, two-tier cover-up that can be worn open in the front or wrapped and pinned or belted. Use the excess fabric from the top tier to create a cowl neck or hood. The cape can also be worn by holding it in front of you and slipping your arms through the holes to have a warm cover-up for sitting or lying in bed.

The Adaptable Cape is also easy care, washer and dryer safe. It has no buttons, zippers, or snaps. The Adaptable Cape comes in French Blue or Black and in sizes small/medium or medium/large.

“The Adaptive Cape is cozy, but also fashionable,” noted Kim McLeod. “Our goal is to develop and resource cool, colorful and creative clothing and products that gave our people grace, fashion and fun. Seniors and their families are no longer ‘settling’ for frumpy, but demanding something that is still wow.”
