- Pit Bulls were #1 by a wide margin at about 2000 attacks resulting in serious injury.
- Rottweilers were #2 on the list at around 600 attacks
- Sheppard's were at like 90 attacks
- It should be pretty obvious that this not just a counting error
- I should point out that my research, while not clinical in nature, in the last four months has discovered similar wide disparity between pit bulls and other breeds when it comes to bites resulting in serious injuries
- There is a rigorous study linked to the article that they will no doubt explain away why it is wrong, that's just what advocates do. The one I hear most is that people are just not capable of ID'ing a pit bull...
