PUMPKIN PATCH. This is the fourth year that the Weston United Methodist Church will have a fundraiser sale of pumpkins provided by the Navajos in New Mexico. A small army of volunteers will unload more than 1,000 pumpkins onto our front lawn on Route 117 on the morning on October 1.
Over $10,000 was raised last year with 67% going to the Navajos and 33% going to support our missional outreach by the church. For the month leading up to Halloween, the Rev. Melius and other church volunteers will be selling pumpkins to one and all.
Come and support this worthy cause, and buy a pumpkin!
