Raytheon Pays $350K to Resolve Allegations That It Improperly Charged Department of Defense

The Waltham-based defense contractor allegedly submitted expenses that were ineligible for reimbursements.

Raytheon, the Waltham-based defense contractor, has agreed to pay $350,000 to resolve allegations that it improperly charged the Department of Defense, according to U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz’ office.

From 2007-2009, the company allegedly submitted overhead expenses for group meals, business group meals and group meals at conferences that were ineligible for reimbursements under the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Raytheon’s Waltham headquarters are at 870 Winter St., off the Cambridge Reservoir.
