Rodman CPAs Offers "Accounting 101" Seminar on May 17th

Interested in expanding your skills as a bookkeeper? Rodman CPAs, a full service tax and accounting firm serving small, mid-market, and multi-generational companies throughout the greater Boston area, has designed a seminar to help bookkeepers and others understand the basics of accounting.

Rodman CPAs is offering a one-day "Accounting 101" seminar on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at their office, 51 Sawyer Road, Suite 610 in Waltham, MA 02453. The seminar will include a Q&A session and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the firm's classroom. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Accounting 101 will be led by Rodman's Experienced Associate Kayla Luther, who has recently been certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, along with Kathy Parker CPA, partner and Leah Shanahan CPA, manager. The seminar will introduce the basic accounting principles necessary for running a business. The Rodman team will cover the fundamentals of accounting including chart of accounts, accounting cycles, transactions made, financial statements, journal entries, trial balance and work sheets. Attendees will also gain a deeper understanding of the general accounting terms used in everyday accounting.

Rodman CPAs has been a member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program since 1999 and has provided training and consulting to hundreds of small to mid-size companies. Their Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisors team includes Kathy Parker CPA, Leah Shanahan CPA, Janine O'Connor EA, Christine McGoldrick and their newest certified ProAdvisor, Kayla Luther.
