Thermo Fisher Scientific Employees Encourage Students to Pursue STEM Careers

Lab safety kits were designed to inspire kids to pursue science, technology, engineering and math careers

Over the next four years, STEM jobs spanning science, technology, engineering and math are projected to grow twice as quickly as jobs in other fields. However, there is a significant shortage of qualified candidates to fill these open positions.

The 400 kits benefited students at the Boston Renaissance Charter School and included a Thermo Fisher bag, lab coat, apron, notebook, goggles and gloves.
