The three teens “violently beat and robbed” Tullus in a wooded area on Monday, Aug. 18, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan. After Tullus, 34, of Waltham, was reported missing for two days on Aug. 20, police found his body in his car on Overland Road in Waltham, near the wooded area.
The cause and manner of Tullus’ death, as well as toxicology tests, are still pending with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, authorities said.

Authorities allege that the teens beat and kicked Tullus and Greaves hit him on the head with a rock. Following the assault, the teens allegedly took Tullus’ ATM card, cellphone and other property from his car.
“The callous nature of this vicious assault is disturbing and frightening,” Ryan said in a statement.
The teens are scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, Oct. 17, in Waltham Juvenile Court.
