Walden Names Doweyko Assistant VP of Clinical Operations, Connecticut

Leading Hospital for Treating Eating Disorders Promotes Connecticut Woman

Walden Behavioral Care, LLC of Waltham, one of the country’s leading hospitals for treating eating disorders, announced the promotion of Rebekah Doweyko, LPC of Durham, Conn., to Assistant Vice President, Clinical Operations, Connecticut Region.

In her new role, Doweyko will be responsible for the clinical services and operations of all Walden locations in Connecticut. This includes oversight of clinics in Guilford (which opened in May) and South Windsor, both offering evidence-based partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. She will also provide support for a new inpatient eating disorder unit opening soon in Vernon. Walden employs more than 30 staff throughout the state.

Prior to this promotion, Doweyko was the Program Director for Walden’s South Windsor clinic.

She earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed professional counselor in Connecticut.
