Waltham CPA Firm Announces Two Promotions

Rodman CPAs a full-service tax and accounting firm serving small and mid-sized businesses throughout the greater Boston area.

Rodman CPAs of Waltham, MA, a full-service tax and accounting firm serving small and mid-sized emerging and established businesses throughout the greater Boston area, has announced the promotion of two of their accountants.

Marc Scribi, a resident of Waltham, has been promoted to Experienced Associate. In his new role, Scribi works on a number of client engagements in a variety of industries preparing audit, reviews, and compilation engagements as well as financial statements. His expertise is audits of nonpublic companies and employee benefit plans, but he often assists in the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns. Scribi joined Rodman CPAs in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Suffolk University Sawyer Business School.

Jeremy Eckmair, MSA, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Value Growth Advisor (CVGA) and resident of Somerville, MA, has also been promoted to Experienced Associate. Eckmair will be responsible for reviews, audits, and preparation of financial statements for clients in a variety of industries, along with tax preparation for various types of entities, including not for profits. In addition to his audit and tax work, Eckmair will continue to work alongside Steve Rodman, CPA, MST, President and partner Robert Leonard, CPA, MBA, as a member of the firm’s Business Consulting Group, focused on improving clients' business value and profitability and minimizing risk. Eckmair joined the firm in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire.

Both are members of member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA) and involved with Rodman CPAs' outreach efforts supporting a variety of organizations and causes.
