Waltham Garden Club 75th Anniversary Celebration Tea

The Waltham Garden Club will culminate its 75th anniversary year with a Celebration Tea.

The Waltham Garden Club will culminate its 75th anniversary year with a Celebration Tea in the Gore Estate's newly renovated Carriage House on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 1:30 PM. The Gore Estate Carriage House has been the setting for many Waltham Garden Club teas through the years. In addition to enjoying tea, sweets, and savories, guests will have the opportunity to hear two expert speakers. Meg Muckenhoupt will highlight the history of food in New England from 1620 to the present, and Scott Clarke of the Gore Estate will talk about heirloom vegetables being grown in Waltham today. A fun component of the afternoon will be the "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" display. Tables will be set up with china and floral arrangements to represent famous people.

In honor of the Waltham Garden Club's founding date of 1941, tickets are $41. The event is open to the public and tickets can be obtained from chairwomen Joyce Gianfelice at 781-891-7558 or Lela Chiavaras at kalliadesign@aol.com
