Waltham Hair Cuttery Salons Donate Haircuts to Veterans in Honor of Veterans Day

This Veterans Day the Waltham Hair Cuttery salons are honoring and giving back to former servicemen and women through its Share-A-Haircut program. For every haircut purchased by Hair Cuttery patrons on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11th, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a veteran in the community. Hair Cuttery will distribute the free haircut certificates through local veteran’s organizations such as Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A., Salvation Army and National Veterans Homeless Support.

“Share-A-Haircut is our salute to the men and women who have courageously defended our country,” said Dennis Ratner, Hair Cuttery founder and CEO. “Veterans Day is about recognizing and celebrating their service, and we are showing our gratitude the best way we know how.”

In its 17th year, the Share-A-Haircut program has donated nearly 2 million free haircut certificates valued at more than $30 million to various causes including the homeless, victims of domestic violence and disadvantaged children. This November, Hair Cuttery hopes to reach thousands more with its veterans-focused program.
