Waltham Opinion: Why I'm Voting For Christina Montgomery

As a longtime Waltham resident, former member of the Waltham Cultual Council, and also a former member of the Medford School Committee, I am supporting Christina Montgomery in the Ward Five preliminary election next Tuesday. I believe we need leaders like Christina - an employment lawyer, small business owner, and the parent of a fifth grader in our public schools.

Christina has a vision of what Waltham can accomplish on the most relevant issues of today - affordable housing, city planning, and improvement of our environment.She appreciates the diversity of our city and the leadership and staff of our public schools. As a trained mediator, Christina will be a careful listener and effective spokesperson for the residents of Ward Five. Our ward, and our city, needs someone with her skills now more than ever.
