Waltham Police Officer Visits Local YMCA Summer Camp

The YMCA of Greater Boston and Boston Police Department partnered during the week of National Night Out.

Officer Ann Frassica spent the day at the Waltham YMCA’s Camp Cabot. She answered questions about what it's like being a police officer, read a safety story for campers ages three to six, and was pitcher for a wiffle ball game with campers ages two to five.

WALTHAM, Mass. —On Friday, August 5, Waltham Police Officer Ann Frassica visited the Waltham YMCA’s Camp Cabot to engage with campers. Officer Frassica read campers a police safety story, answered questions about her job as an officer and pitched a camp-wide game of wiffle ball. To build stronger relationships with camps and their district, the YMCA of Greater Boston and Boston Police Department partnered during the week of National Night Out to bring local police officers to camps and foster positive interactions with their community.
