The which is currently undergoing major renovations, will reopen in June.
"It looks great out there! The pool floor is poured, the walls are going up in the bathhouse building," said State Department of Conservation and Recreation spokesman S.J. Port in an e-mail. "DCR is thrilled to have this facility back online and as an example of low energy green technology in use at DCR’s recreational facilities."
DCR owns and operates the pool located on Newton Street.

The pool has been closed since 2010 for renovations and was scheduled to reopen last summer.
Once open, the pool will feature a zero-depth entrance, racing lanes and a spray park among other things.
