Waltham Race Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the Shifter's 5k Race coming on March 31.

The race, which is part of the larger Running Around Waltham series, is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Patricipants can pre-register for $25 and do same-day registration for $30, according to their Web site.

The first 250 participants will get free t-shirts while free food and drinks will be available afterwards. Also, prizes will be given to the top four finishers in each age group.

The race proceeds will benefit the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge.
