Waltham Students Compete for the Key to Success - and a Car - as Local Car Dealer wraps 2016 "Keys to Success" Program
Honda Village of Newton will donate cars to winners at Newton North and Waltham High Schools

This month, two lucky high school students will be the winners of a certified pre-owned car as part of this year’s Keys to Success program. Now in its ninth year, Keys to Success is an incentive program rewarding high school students who achieve excellence. Monthly, students are given exciting prizes for excelling in various categories during the school year. At the end of the year, those recognized during the academic calendar have the opportunity to compete to win a certified pre-owned car.
Honda Village of Newton kicked off the 2016-2017 year to motivate and recognize local students from Newton North High School and Waltham High School to excel in various areas including attendance, community service, improvement in grades, and other categories. The program itself is simple, but effective: Students who excel are given “Key Cards” by the high school administrators and at the end of the academic calendar, 50 Key Card holders from each high school will be randomly selected to advance to the “Key Off,” where one deserving student from each school will draw the lucky key that turns over the engine to a certified pre-owned vehicle to take home.
The Village Automotive Group dealership supplies the certified pre-owned cars which the students compete to win. To coordinate this effort and manage the program throughout the year, Honda Village works directly with the faculty at Newton North High School and Waltham High School.
