TECO Announces “2014 Taiwan
Day” Cultural Event

The Taipei Economic and
Cultural Office in
Boston (TECO-Boston), along with the local Taiwanese community of the Greater Boston area, is
proud to announce the “2014 Taiwan Day
cultural event from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday May 3, in Newton, MA. The 6th
annual event will showcase the colorful culture of the Republic of China
(Taiwan) with a parade, cultural performances, booths of food, drink, and cultural
and tourism information, among many others. It is free and open to the
public.



 



When:



 



Saturday,
May 3, 2014, 12 noon - 4 p.m.



 



Where:



 



Hyde
Park Playground

Lincoln Street



Newton
Highlands, MA 02461



(There
is roadside parking near the playground. It is also accessible by the Green
Line from the Newton Highlands Station.)



 



What:



 



The
event will include Taiwanese music and cultural performances, Taiwanese arts
and crafts, Taiwanese food, drinks and a raffle drawing. The first prize includes
one free domestic airline ticket within the continental United States
.
