Over forty vendors offering handmade beads, strands of beads, finished jewelry, all types of beading supplies and demonstrations.
The Bead Affaire is coming to Watertown on Saturday, October 17. Sponsored by Lexington-based Beadesigner International (BDI), the New England Bead Society, the Bead Affaire includes over forty exhibitors from around the country including nationally recognized artists and specialty bead vendors. The show takes place at the Armenian Cultural Center, 47 Nichols Ave, Watertown, MA from 10 AM - 5 PM.
The Bead Affaire offers an amazing range of beads, beaded jewelry and supplies. There will be finished jewelry including unique art glass pendants, necklaces, bracelets and earrings in addition to findings, chain, leather cord and accessories and much, much more.
In addition to handcrafted beads and beaded jewelry, there will be strands of beads from all over the world – materials include glass, vintage, polymer clay, seed, pearl, gemstone, metal and more. The show features demonstrations throughout the day.
Beadesigner International (BDI) is a non-profit organization focused on the study and exchange of ideas and knowledge related to beads, beaded jewelry and beading techniques. Funds raised by the show are used to support the ongoing activities of the bead society including monthly society meetings in Lexington featuring lectures by local and national artists.
