5th Annual Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Dinner Set for December 4, 2014 to Honor Those That Have Made the Ultimate Sacrifice Since 9/11
Mass Fallen Heroes will also Discuss Plans for Advocacy Programs and Services for Returning Veterans and Gold Star Families
Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, created to memorialize our fallen heroes who served in the Global War on Terrorism since 2001, is proud to announce the 5th annual Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Dinner on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Seaport World Trade Center.
The goal of the memorial dinner is to honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11, pay tribute to Gold Star Families, raise additional funding and awareness for the permanent memorial that broke ground at Seaport Square Park in South Boston in October 2014, and discuss the several programs and services Mass Fallen Heroes provides to Massachusetts military veterans.
Massachusetts Fallen Heroes has evolved from a charity strictly geared towards building a tribute honoring fallen heroes into a multifaceted veteran advocacy organization assisting returning military veterans and transitioning them back to civilian life. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes now also acts as a liaison in acquiring educational, employment, medical, legal, financial and other additional services to local military veterans, their families and families of the fallen. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes holds a series of events throughout the year honoring those who have served and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

“We continue to make great strides towards our goals of creating the first of its kind permanent memorial to honor those that lost their lives defending our country, and to transition Massachusetts Fallen Heroes towards an all-encompassing advocacy program for veterans and Gold Star Families,” said Dan Magoon, Executive Director of Massachusetts Fallen Heroes. “Our annual memorial dinner gives us a chance to reflect, and let everyone know that the organization still needs a lot of community support to complete our mission with the memorial and further our mission with advocacy programs.”

Clarke, Commanding General 82nd Airborne Division, United States Army will be the keynote speaker and Coleman Nee, Secretary of Veterans’ Services is this year’s honoree.
