7-Eleven Celebrating Opening of New Store in Watertown Square

Slurpees for 7 cents and hot dogs for 11 cents at the event.

7-Eleven will open a new location at 3 Mt. Auburn St. in Watertown Square and the convenience store invites people in for cheap drinks and food.

The opening celebration will feature free samples, 7-cent Slurpee frozen drinks and 11-cent Big Bite hot dogs, brain-freezing music by DJ Slurpee, games for all ages, and a chance to spin the “Oh Thank Heaven” prize wheel for free food and drink products from 7-Eleven, according to the announcement sent out by 7-Eleven.

The celebration will be Thursday, Aug. 25, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the release said. All guests can enter to win a $100 convenience card from 7-Eleven in exchange for a donation to the , free temporary tattoos and balloons, and other surprises.
