Acton Man Would Not Move Car, Arrested on OUI Charge

Man would not move his car on Main Street, and then made an illegal turn at a red light.

An Acton man faces driving under the influence of alcohol charges after he was stopped by Watertown Police on Feb. 17 at 1:56 a.m.

An officer spotted a car stopped on Main Street near Stellina restaurant and would not move for other cars, said Watertown Police Sgt. Thomas Grady.

"The officer banged a U-turn, put his lights on and tried to contact the operator (of the car)," Grady said. "The person drove off."
