Almost 700 Customers Without Power in Watertown (Updated)

Eversource Energy continues to work to restore power to the city and other Boston area communities without from the storm.

UPDATE (10:23 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3): Eversource Energry reports that 656 customers were without power at about 10:30 p.m. About 5,332 customers were without power throughout the Boston area.

More than 200 Watertown customers are without electricity because of Tuesday’s storms, according to Eversource Energy’s outage map.

At about 5:30 p.m., Eversource Energy, which supplies electricity to the Boston area, reported 248 of its 17,550 Watertown customers were without power. The utility reported 137 customers who didn’t have electricity throughout most of the day.

Overall, there are 7,415 Boston-area customers without power because of the storm.
