Anatoly Dverin: Oil Paintings & Pastels, Fall Exhibit from Sep 20 - Oct 12 at new Gallery location in Cambridge

We are happy to announce our 2014 Fall Exhibition Season at the new Gallery location: 580 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02141, which is walking distance from the Lechmere T stop on the Green Line and the Kendall Square T stop on the Red Line, in addition it is directly on the #69 bus route. From Russia With Art Gallery will open its doors to friends, neighbors and customers from September 20 - December 23, 2014, Wed - Sun, from 10:30-7:00pm. We are planning 3 different exhibitions during this period of time.

Our first exhibition will be new artworks by the American Impressionist, Signature Member of the OPA and Master Member of the American Pastel Society, Anatoly Dverin. This event will take place at the Gallery from September 20 - October 12, with an artist reception on Sunday, September 28th, from 3-7:pm.

Born in 1935 and raised in Ukraine, Anatoly earned his degrees from Saint Petersburg Academy of Fine Art & Design as well as the Kharkiv Institute of Fine Arts. In September 2014, the artist was given the highest title of Master of the Pastel Society of America. “the Artist’s prizewinning pastel is a striking example of a portrait that shines not only on the merits of its technical achievement but its emotional potency as well” (Christine Proskow, Pastel Journal, April 2013)
