- 200 arts lovers enjoyed exuberant performances by New Repertory Theatre, Watertown Children’s Theatre, the Arsenal Center’s American Songbook: The Jazz View Series, Sayat Nova Dance Company and Solar Winds Trio at the Arsenal Center for the Arts gala on April 8: Celebrating the Arts. It was truly an evening of community as these local groups took the stage with such poise and pride, showcasing the wide variety of performance art that the Arsenal Center presents, emceed by WGBH's Jared Bowen, while guests also browsed the exhibits and mingled at an elegant reception.
- Arsenal Center for the Arts Board President John Foote presented the Charles Mosesian Award for Support of the Arts to Watertown Savings Bank CEO and Chairman Ronald Dean, a resident of Watertown.
- $30,000 was raised for the many programs, exhibits and classes that the Arsenal Center presents.
