Bank Awards $75,000 to 28 Local Non-Profits

WATERTOWN, March 2015-- On Tuesday, March 10th, Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) gave $75,000 to the 28 local community organizations chosen by their banking customers, in the bank’s 19th annual Customer Choice Awards.

“Letting our customers’ votes determine how the funds are distributed creates a wonderfully diverse group of winners each year,” said vice president Carole Katz, emcee for the event. The list of winners is below.

During the awards ceremony, a representative from each of the winning organizations had the opportunity to speak about the work they do and how they will use the funds. It is a unique event that celebrates the efforts of the hard-working people who do so much to add to the quality of life in the local communities.
