Belmont Savings Competing in 'Social Madness' to Help Local Charities
The bank made the local final and looks to move to the national round of the Business Journal's national contest.

Belmont Savings could receive $10,000 to donate to local charities, but it needs the help of fans, followers and others to put them over the top in the Boston finals of the Business Journal's Social Madness contest.
The bank seeks people to Liking their Facebook page, following them on Twitter, connecting on their LinkedIn page or selecting them at the Boston Business Journal Social Madness page. Voters have until July 16 to vote for Belmont Savings Bank.
The bank is competing against Edvisors in the final round for Boston small businesses. If Belmont Savings advances to the national round it will become eligible for the $10,000 prize. Once entering the national round, the bank would launch an online poll, so voters can select the charity which they think deserves a donation.
