Belmont Savings Sponsors Faire on the Square

Bank continues community outreach with multiple local events throughout its footprint

Belmont Savings Bank today announced its sponsorship of a variety of local events during the weekend of September 27th and 28th. Sponsored activities will include Newtonville Village Day & Jazz Festival in Newton and the annual Faire on the Square in Watertown, as well as- for the first time- the Gore Place Fall Festival in Waltham and the Greater Boston Alzheimer’s Walk.

· The Bank returns to sponsor Watertown’s 15th annual Faire on the Square, which will be held on Saturday, September 27th. The Faire provides local families with free entertainment and activities hosted by Watertown businesses and organizations.

The Belmont Savings Cash Cube will be on hand from noon- 2 p.m. The Cash Cube gives participants an opportunity to capture flying dollar bills, with the percentage of the obtained dollars supporting the Watertown Education Foundation. Belmont Savings will also administer a free raffle for attendees stopping by their table, with the winner receiving a Bose Soundlink speaker.

Faire on the Square will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saltonstall Park and Campus, 149 Main Street.

· Belmont Savings is both a sustaining sponsor and main event sponsor for the Newtonville Village Day & Jazz Festival on Sunday, September 28. This year, the Belmont Savings booth will be set up In front of the Walnut Street CVS. In addition to free giveaways and an iPad mini raffle, the Belmont Savings Cash Cube runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Newtonville Village Day & Jazz Festival will be from noon-5p.m. on Walnut Street between Washington Street and Washington Park

· The Greater Boston Alzheimer’s Walk is a new event for the Bank, and will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 8:30 a.m. at Paul Revere Park in Charlestown. The Bank will be sponsoring the water stop half way through the walk. Additionally, they will also have a booth at the start and finish line where they will raffle an iPad mini.

· The Bank will sponsor the first annual Gore Place Fall Festival on September 28, where they will raffle off an iPad mini, and have free giveaways. The Bank’s table will also contain a prize wheel with additional fun prizes for attending children.
