The courtyard of the Central Library in Copley
Square, one of Boston’s most beautiful spaces, will be filled with music in a
free, lunchtime concert series every Friday throughout the summer.
On August 9, BLO presents a
concert of opera favorites with selections from the 2013/14 season including Mozart’s
family favorite, The Magic Flute, and Verdi’s Rigoletto. The cast
includes Chelsea Basler, Mara Bonde, Michelle Trainor, Sandra Piques-Eddy, Zach
Borichevsky, and Andrew Garland.

If there is inclement
weather, concerts will be moved inside to Rabb Lecture Hall, located on the
lower level of the Johnson Building.
