What are YOU doing this upcoming three-day weekend? If you're sticking around Watertown, join us at Mount Auburn Cemetery for any of our free Memorial Day activities. We're offering a fun walking tour, an opportunity to reflect, a glimpse into our past, and a unique musical experience – there is truly something for everyone!
Friday, May 25, at 7 a.m. we're offering a free Early Riser's Horticulture Club walk. Perfect for earlybirds, or those who want a bit of botanical "juice" in their system before work, the walk will chase the various colorful blooms popping up all over Mount Auburn.
Saturday, May 26, at 1:30 p.m. we'll be hosting our annual Service of Commemoration. The service provides an opportunity to commemorate those who have lost their lives before us, and will feature comments by Swami Tyagananda and Rev. Rosemarie Smurzynski. The Brass Consortium and bagpiper Timothy Sullivan will provide music for the event.
