Einstein is absolutely right, and it works both ways.

One way that it works:

Search for people who are strong and sure in their creativity, and find ways to expose yourself to their influence.

Do you have a friend who does their art?
A relative?
A neighbor?
A co-worker?
Someone in your town that you barely know?
A famous person that you admire?

Watch them
Talk to them
Attend their performance
Follow them on Twitter
Read the book they wrote
Read the book someone wrote about them
Watch the documentary someone made about them

Find a way to connect with these people, or to study them from a distance
Learn how they live their creative life
Let them rub off on you
Soak your brain and your heart in the attitudes and habits of people who do their art
