Are you one of those people who is afraid to sing? Did someone tell you that you…

“Can’t sing”
“Have a bad voice”
“Can’t carry a tune”
“Are tone deaf”
“Have a voice that cracks”
“Sing too loud”
“Sing too soft”
“Have no range”  ?

These are all reasons people give me why they are not allowed to sing.

And you know what I notice? This makes people really sad!

I hear so much sadness from people who wish they could sing but have been told that they can’t or shouldn’t. Many of them don’t realize that they’re sad. They’re so used to feeling that way, they just take it for granted.
