Watertown Savings Bank Relay Team Announces Third Annual Fundraising Gala

WATERTOWN, April 30, 2013— 2013 marks the 10^th Anniversary of the Watertown/Waltham Relay for Life event in support of the American Cancer Society (ACS).  The Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) Relay team is looking to make this a memorable year. 

“We are excited about our team and what we will achieve with our fundraising this year,” said WSB team co-captain Lisa Nichols. 

The WSB team is the top fundraising team from Watertown/Waltham, and one of the most successful fundraising teams in New England.  One of the major reasons for this success is their annual gala fundraiser.  Last year this event raised $14,000.    

This year’s gala will be held Friday, May 10^th, from 7 to 11 p.m., at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Watertown.  There will be dinner, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to win great prizes.  Tickets to the event are $20 and are on sale at all WSB locations.  Event tickets may also be purchased online by clicking the “Make Donation” button on the following link!  http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLCY13NE?px=32126508&pg=personal&fr_id=52007    Tickets purchased by May 1^st will be mailed; after May 1^st, tickets will be held at the door.
