Braintree Man Arrested After Crashing Car, Running Through Neighborhood with No Shirt
Police found the car crashed on Arlington Street, and witnesses saw a man running through people's yards.

A Braintree man ran shirtless through a East Watertown neighborhood after crashing his BMW while allegedly driving while drunk.
Watertown Police were contacted by Cambridge authorities after they spotted a man openly peeing besides his car while it was parked on the side of the road, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. The man then sped off, and drove over a sidewalk.
At 1:17 a.m. on July 4, Watertown Police received report of an accident on Arlington Street at Mt. Auburn Street. Officers arrived and found a black BMW stopped up on the sidewalk with airbags deployed. An off-duty Cambridge Police officers spotted the man leaving his car.

"He observed the man flee the vehicle and run toward the Coolidge Playground," Lawn said.
Other witnesses saw a man running along driveways and front lawns with no shirt and no shoes on, Lawn said.

Police stopped the man a couple blocks from the accident on Brimmer Street and placed him under arrest.
Christopher A. Parsons, 29, of 550 Liberty St. Apt. 3408 in Braintree, was arrested on charges of driving under the infuence of alcohol, reckless driving so as to endanger and leaving the scene of property damage, Lawn said.
