Cambridge Man Arrested for Stealing Money from Watertown Office

Police arrested the man after he was seen looking around an office in Watertown Square.

Police found a few hundred dollars of cash on a man after he was seen rummaging through an office of the Watertown Center for the Healing Arts on April 30 at 3:08 p.m.

The victim left his office and when he came back he found a strange man coming out of his office, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"The suspect said he was looking for a dentist's office," Lawn said. "The victim discovered his jacket on the floor and $200 to $300 was missing."

The man called police and gave them a description of the suspect. Officers located a man fitting the description on Summer Street near Mt. Auburn Street, Lawn said.

"They discovered the cash was stuck inside the suspects underwear," Lawn said.

Robert Paquette, 38, of 105 Sciarappa St. Apt. 3 in Cambridge, was arrested on a charge of larceny from a building, Lawn said.
