Cash, Drugs Seized in Search of Metro Boston Homes

Two men were arrested Thursday after a months-long investigation into overdoses in the metro Boston area, Watertown police said. Deiby Diaz-Arias, of Dorchester, and Carlos German-Peguero, of Lawrence, will face fentanyl trafficking charges.

Police said after a two-month joint investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Task Force and the Boston Police Drug Control Unit, warrants were executed in Watertown, Dorchester and Brighton.

A large amount of cash and drugs with an approximate street value of $10,000 were seized, police said.
