ChoroBop Free Concert at Arsenal Center for the Arts
Lunchtime free outdoor music series continues with ChoroBop, a blend of Brazilian Choro with a twist of bebop!

August 27: ChoroBop is a new ensemble formed by three current Berklee students from Brazil. The band’s repertoire is based on the traditional Brazilian Choro genre, with a special twist of Bebop. Performing with a formation of traditional and contemporary instrumentation, they employ mandolin, seven-string guitar, pandeiro and percussion. Encompassing the sonority of Choro and bebop, ChoroBop delivers original sounds with a fresh, virtuosic interpretation. The Arsenal Center for the Arts presents Outdoors at the Arsenal, its first summer of free, outdoor music, art and theatre performances, workshops and demos, all sponsored by athenahealth.
These free concerts, sponsored by athenahealth, are held the 2nd & 4th Weds from 12Noon – 1:30PM through September with Berklee-trained musicians playing everything from Latin to jazz, R&B, bluegrass, rock and more.
