Watertown Students Invited to Open Houses at the Community Charter School of Cambridge
The school accepts Watertown students, and applications are currently being taken.

The following release was sent out by the Community Charter School of Cambridge:
Community Charter School of Cambridge, located at 245 Bent Street in Kendall Square, is now accepting applications for the 2012-13 school year.
Families interested in learning more about the tuition-free public charter school should make plans to attend an upcoming open house. These events are a great way to learn more about the school's educational philosophy, culture, and mission. The open house events also provide a great opportunity to meet some of the faculty and staff, tour the school, and get answers to important questions.

CCSC is a college preparatory school serving students in grades 7-12. The tuition free public charter school accepts students who apply on a "first come, first serve" basis through a blind lottery.
The student body consists of students from Cambridge, Somerville, Watertown, Arlington, Medford, Belmont, Boston and several other surrounding cities and towns. In 2011, CCSC opened "at capacity", meaning all seats were occupied and a wait list was created.
