Copper Drain Pipes Stolen from St. Patrick's Church

Someone took several downspouts from the church on Main Street, WHDH Channel 7 reports.

A maintenance worker at St. Patrick's Church discovered that several copper drain pipes were missing from the church Thursday.

A dozen of the downspouts were taken, according to a report from WHDH Channel 7.

“My first reaction was it was pouring buckets last night, why would anybody do it in the middle of the night? Because that’s when people do it, in the middle of the night – they basically snatch and run. Grab the copper, it’s valuable,” Father Bob Connors of St. Patrick’s Parish told WHDH.
