Dependable Cleaners announces its 5th Winner of Read to Ride 2016!

(Quincy, Mass.) Dependable Cleaners is pleased to announce that Watertown student Lucas Ng has won a new bike through its annual Read to Ride program. The program is designed to encourage students to keep up with their reading during the summer months. Students from ages 6-15 will have the chance to win a bike or an exciting prize for every book they read. Since the program’s inception in 1999, more than 72,000 books have been read.

Lucas, age 10, is a big fan of reading. Though reading is one of Lucas’ favorite hobbies, he also enjoys playing floor hockey! His favorite author is Brandon Mull who writes some of Lucas’ favorite book, specifically The Candy Shop War. Lucas will enter the 6th grade at Watertown Middle School where he is excited to expand on his reading skills.

Participation in Read to Ride is easy. For every book a child reads, they fill out an entry form and submit it at any of the 16 Dependable Cleaner locations or with Dependable Cleaners’ Home Delivery Drivers. Entry forms are available at all Dependable Cleaners locations, delivery routes, Country Ski & Sport locations, Farina’s Bike Store in Watertown, local libraries, bookstores and online at DependableCleaners.com/Read-Ride.

One grand prize winner will be drawn each Monday beginning June 6 until August 15, 2016 (except for July 4). The grand prize winners will receive a new bike and helmet.
