Local Chefs and Musicians Come Together for a Cause

Cambridge, MA (January 18, 2016) – On Sunday, February 28th, Eat Your Heart Out Boston (EYHO) returns for its sixth installment at The Sinclair. With a focus on spotlighting culinary and musical talent, the creators of EYHO have curated a dynamic group of award-winning local Chefs, pairing them with Boston band The Bad Rabbits or an evening of food, fun and incredible music. Benefiting local charities Future Chefs and Girls Rock Band Campaign, tickets for Eat Your Heart Out Boston can be purchased online at www.sinclaircambridge.com or www.eatyourheartoutboston.com.

During the Eat Your Heart Out chef tasting, attendees feast on small plates created by each guest chef. VIP ticket holders receive early access to select chefs, a gift bag and other perks when they enter the venue at 5:00PM; general admission ticket holders join them at 6:00PM to feast on chef creations. Each chef’s dish is inspired by their favorite musical band or genre (i.e., “A Tribute to KISS: Beef Tongue” and “An ode to Elvis Presley’s love of chicken, butter and anything fried: Ain’t Nothin Butter Hound Dog”). Food lovers are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to mix and mingle with their favorite restaurant talent and musical entertainment, who will also be enjoying the tasting. At 8:00PM, guests put down their plates, grab a beverage and turn their attention to The Sinclair stage to listen to the stage to listen to a great nationally recognized artist.

Like some kind of sonic Pulp Fiction, Bad Rabbits fuse futuristic R&B and post-rock for a slick one-two punch.

MTV Buzzworthy couldn’t have said it better, Bad Rabbits are “…a vibrant, horn-blasting, dirty bass funk-popping blast of throwback R&B charm.” The multi-cultural Boston five-piece—Fredua “Dua” Boakye [vocals], Sheel Davé [drums], Salim Akram [guitar], Graham Masser [bass], and Santiago Araujo [guitar]—confidently struts through genres with unrestrained swagger and a whole lot of attitude.

Tickets for Eat Your Heart Out are on sale through Ticketmaster. VIP tickets are $75 per person, and general admission tickets are $50 per person.

Future Chefs is a high impact school-to-career program that connects motivated, talented high school students with opportunities for work and education in the culinary arts field. ABOUT GIRLS ROCK BAND CAMPAIGN:

Girls Rock Campaign Boston (GRCB) empowers girls to believe in themselves by providing a supportive community that fosters self-expression, confidence, and collaboration through musical education and performance. Girls Rock Campaign Boston (GRCB) offers a volunteer run summer program for girls aged 8-17. During each session, girls have the opportunity to form bands, learn how to play an instrument (guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, or vocals), compose an original song and perform live at a local rock venue - all in one week’s time. In addition to the band practices and instrumental lessons, GRCB also provides workshops geared towards self-esteem building and self-expression including Self-Defense, Screen Printing, Women in Rock History, and Songwriting.
