Election Thoughts

To the editor,

     As a member of the Charter Commission that framed

our new government, I honestly believe it is running extremely

well under the current Town Council.

      The solid leadership provided by Mark Sideris and

Stephen Corbett, a refreshing civility, good discussion

and decision making, have Watertown on the right

road.

      Looking around town at Victory Field, the new DPW yard,

the police station, the parks, the fields, the tot lots, the

great public safety, the roadwork and other major

capital improvements, I think most would agree.

      This Town Council has been very wise and deliberate

in its allocation of resources and it shows.

       Competion is healthy and makes for better

government and should always be appreciated and

encouraged.

       So we wish all the candidates well.

       This year I believe the whole council has earned

reelction.
